Opulent decor and attentive service are reminiscent of a former elegant era as are the spacious guest rooms with stunning views. The Nob Hill restaurant features an interpretive California cuisine menu in a sophisticated atmosphere, while the world-famous Top of the Mark bar is renowned as a celebrity venue. For meetings and conferences, few hotels are as generously appointed as the Mark Hopkins. The hotel offers 380 rooms and 39 suites and All guestrooms and suites have been completely renovated in 2000. I stayed for two nights at the Club floor level and enjoyed my stay in the Mark Hopkins Hotel. If you want to take a great picture, visit the club lounge at night and take a picture of the business area. You also will be able to see Alcatraz, the famous prison.
