Comments: “On my return stay in Saigon ( Ho Chi
Minh City ) I tried this Sofitel. The Sofitel Plaza hotel is a great hotel,
but not as good as the Sheraton. The Hotel located in the city centre,
right in the business district and close to Notre Dame Cathedral &
Reunification Palace. 30 min drive to airport ( always book a normal taxi
at the airport, price about 4 USD for a 30 min. drive ) and Exhibition
Centre. The hotel has 279 elegant rooms & 11 suites, 5 non-smoking
floors, swimming pool and fitness centre. 2 restaurants with international,
French and Mediterranean cuisine, 2 bars. 6 conference rooms for up to
500 people. On pictures 018-024 you will find the bar for the executive
guests. Picture 028 shows
a picture from the sheraton taken from the top floor of the Sofitel Hotel.
