Comments: Aldemar Hotels is one of the leading hotel chains in Greece with a total of 5,500-bed capacity and 1,400 employees. Through the selection of strategic destinations for its hotels, the design and construction of new hotel units, complete refurbishment of newly acquired units, as well as the provision of superb services, Aldemar Hotels has a most dynamic presence in the hospitality field.

The hotel has 353 rooms (97 which have direct access to the thalasso/spa centre and 10 which are tailored for guests with special needs) and 37 deluxe suite, all housed in building complexes.

Room types:
Double rooms with Garden view, Sea view, Pool-front and VIP sharing pool
All rooms are air-conditioned 24 hours per day (mid-June to mid-September, minimum), have king-size bed/twin beds, sofa-bed, a marbeled bathroom with bathtube and separate shower, hair dryer. A furnished balcony or veranda, colour satellite television with music channels, magnifying mirror, direct dial telephone, refrigerator (mini-bar upon request) and a electronic safe, room service (24 hours) are offered as well as the following specials for each guest:
Upon arrival: wine, fruit basket, mineral water, an Aldemar bath kit (soap, shampoo, shower gel, nail file, shower cap and sewing kit), slippers, welcome cocktail.

For VIP guests:
Upon arrival: wine, fruit basket, mineral water, a bouquet of flowers, an Aldemar bath kit (soap, shampoo, shower gel, nail file, shower cap and sewing kit), bath robe, slippers and beach towels, welcome cocktail.
daily: fresh fruits, mineral water and afteroon maid service
The VIP guests get the same service as the suites (read below).

Following types of Suites can be booked: Iphigenai & Athena Junior Suite, Harmonia VIP Suite, Electra & Dimitra VIP Suite, Ariane Junior Suite, Erato Executive Suite, Aphrodite & Ariane VIP Suite and Aphrodite Presidential Suite
Some extra services like a balcony or veranda with wooden furnishings enlarge the amenities. Suite services: Personal Guest Relations, Express check-in and late check-out, Laundry/dry cleaning service (at extra charge / sarne-day delivery), daily newspaper of your own choice, limousine transfer to and from the airport, late check-out, VIP breakfast in the Candia Gourmet restaurant and in the El Greco traditional Greek restaurant, priority booking for special nights and shows.

Villas are also available, same service with some extra specials like an informative personalised tour of the facilites from their guest relations service.

The breakfast is served in the Main Restaurant, American-style buffet, guests of VIP-rooms and Suites eat at the "Candia" Gourmet restaurant and the "El Greco" Restaurant.. Dinner: buffet service in the Main Restaurant "Symposio". Choice of three main dishes ( 2 weeks period) (waiter service, inclusive: HB/FB). Three special buffet theme nights a week (inclusive: HB/FB)
Note: Drinks are not included. For guests following a dietary meal programme, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the "Harmonia" restaurant. Dress code: guests are kindly requested to dress appropriately in all restaurants, bars and the night club during the evening (no shorts or bathing suits please)

Facilites: Shops (boutiques, traditional arts shop, jewellery shop, mini-market, kios, hair salon) as well as other services (guest relations service, laundry and dry cleaning service, beach towels, lifeguards, luggage service/luggage rooms, transfer to and from your room, first-aid, 24-hour hotel security service, organised excursions (extra charge), daily hotel- bus service (once a day) to and from Hersonissos (free of charge), car, motorcycle and bicycle hire service; baby cots, babysitting, playground ect.). Facilites for Persons with Specials Needs are available (10 rooms, ramps throughout the hotel).
Pets are not permitted on hotel grounds. Sports, ect. just to mention some

Conferences & Meetings: Meeting room with a capacity of 80 pax, conference facilites at the neighbouring Aldemar Knossos Royal Village Conference Centre

Thalasso/Spa: Model thalasso spa centre Royal Mare Thalasso, for relaxation, well-being and beauty treatments

Personal Note:
I've stayed two wonderful weeks at the Royal Mare Village last year and I'm sure I'll visit it again. The architecture of the hotel is amazing, the rooms very clean and comfortable, the suites very luxurious, the panorama fantastic, the service nice and friendly, the food delicious, the facilites alright, yet assured that you'll totally relax. I really had the feeling that they cared for me. Wonderful hotel. 5 stars.
