Comments: A magnificent lofty lobby with lots of marble and gold. Very impressive. The place is huge, with lots of grounds containing a golf course, the country club, conference facilities and villas and restarurants. The check-in staff was courteous. The room was large. The bathroom must be one of the largest we have been to. The bath overlooks the balcony and onto the sea. Very romantic rose petals decorating the bath (Honeymoon Package). Staff seemed a bit cool. Service is a bit slow. Not too polished. The pool is magnificent. We tried the Li Gong Chinese Restaurant, which is located in a free standing building in the grounds. Very nicely decorated. The food was surprisingly good. All Halal, of course. Overall, a very impressive hotel. The service could be a bit more polished to make it a truly amazing place to stay.
