Summary
This is one of the largest lounges United Airlines operate, and is open to all Star Alliance Gold member flyers, regardless of which airlines you are flying.
Pro: Good location, roomy and spacious, good view.
Con: Because of its large size and seating capacity, it could get very noisy at peak times full house, and you do not get the feeling of quiet safe heaven, but just like another public waiting area.

001
Entrance
This Red Carpet Club is among the largest. After clearing the security gate at the International Terminal, the RCC is just at your right. UAL’s First Class Lounge is still far into the departing hall. After showing your boarding pass and your Star Alliance Gold Membership card at the front door, you come behind to take the escalator/the stairs to the upper level (Level 4).

002
Main Lobby
The main lobby is divided into two separate resting areas, both very spacious and clean. Showcased art items are on display. The staffs at the main lobby area are very helpful if you need assistance. The general feeling is that you feel the space once you walk into the lounge areas, a contrast to all those small “exquisite” lounges operated by airlines like All Nippon Airways or Japan Airlines

003
Resting area
The seating arrangement in the two rest areas is well designed and maintained. A number of 32” TV sets keep you in touch with live news events or sports. The resting areas are separated from the working area at deep far end, which keeps two worlds apart, so nobody is annoyed by the other group. The lounge is designed to accommodate a large crowd of passengers, so during peak times, it could also drive you crazy because of noisy crowd.
Because the lounge is located at the upper level (Level 4) of the airport, seats by windows have good views of the airport taxing ways, runways, airplane pull-backs.

004-005
Eatery and Drinks
Most US carriers are notoriously mean and lean in operating airport
lounges. For the Red Carpet Clubs, one typically gets some fruits in a
basket, some veggie with dippings, and cheese biscuits. Of course,
coffees (espresso, cappuccino) are also available, along with booze and
beverages of your choices

006
Work area
The working area of this Red Carpet Club deserves appraises. It is separated from the main rest areas at the deep far end of the lounge. Basically the area is cut into numerous mini-block cells, so you can have your own mini-office to set up your laptop, plug in internet, and work on your own telephone, without being bothered by other people.
The atmosphere in the work area is very good, leaving you a sense of peaceful world to the work you have to do between flights.
